questions
Q.  I was wondering why it is suggested that herbal remedies be cycled, i.e. taken for a few days or weeks and then stopped, then restarted. Is there a particular herb cycle that works best? Do all herbs need this? Is there a specific, identified reason i.e. what happens in the body, etc.?
    A. We just don't know enough about the long term effects of many herbal remedies if taken daily for periods of months or years. Therefore, in order to minimize side effects, taking breaks is a cautious approach.
